It features a dual-layer PVC insulation system, consisting of a color-coded primary insulation over each conductor (0.38 mm thick) and an overall transparent or color-coded PVC jacket (also 0.38 mm thick), giving it a distinctive "parallel cord within a jacket" appearance . The cable is rated for 300 volts and available in temperature ratings ranging from 60°C to 105°C . It passes UL VW-1 and CSA FT2 flame tests and complies with UL 62, UL 1581, and CSA C22.2 No.49 standards.
